Training and educating are important parts of my life path.Throughout my experiences working in public education, being a stay at home parent, and personal training, I’ve learned a lot about how to motivate, foster confidence, and address different learning styles and personalities. Giving my best to clients encourages them to give their best back. My intention is to share what I have learned about the significance fitness, and strength training in particular, has not only in physical wellness, but in other aspects of well-being too. Nurturing your body and building strength translates to caring for your total self and discovering new abilities in all areas of your life. I look forward to the opportunity to assist you wherever you are in your fitness journey, whether you’re just starting, starting again, or overcoming perceived limits in your training.

Fitness has always been a part of my life, through my love of sports and always wanting to find new ways to challenge myself both physically and mentally. Growing up, I participated in baseball, soccer, basketball and track and field! My passion for fitness and living a healthy lifestyle lead me to major in exercise and sport science at Colby-Sawyer College in New London NH. While at Colby Sawyer I competed on the cross country and track and field teams and was able to compete in races all over New England. Upon graduation, I went on to obtain my master’s degree in exercise science and sports nutrition at Merrimack College in North Andover MA. While in school, I became a published researcher on the topic of hydration as it relates to mental and physical performance in athletes. Additionally, I was able to obtain my personal training and strength and conditioning certifications from the American College of Sports Medicine and the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Outside of school and the gym, I enjoy hiking with friends and running in local road races. I compete in races ranging in distance from 5k to a full marathon. I am currently training for a marathon this spring with the ultimate goal of qualifying for the 2020 Boston Marathon! In addition to my own running, I am a certified running coach through USA Track and Field and I am the assistant cross country and track and field coach at Southern New Hampshire University. I love coaching because it allows me to mentor kids, teach them about the sport I love, and inspire them to chase their goals no matter how big or small they may be!

I enjoy my job as a personal trainer because every day I have the ability to make a positive difference in my clients’ lives. The most gratifying part of my job is helping people achieve things that they never thought they could; whether it be a new personal best on a lift or being able to accomplish a simple daily task that they were previously struggling to complete. I know from first-hand experience that through hard work and consistent effort, all of us have the ability to achieve our goals. My training style is unique in that my educational background and personal experiences competing as an athlete myself, allow me to adapt each and every training session to fit the individual needs of clients with a wide variety of goals! My training sessions are often challenging, fast paced, fun and most importantly, they help you achieve what you set out to do!

Carrie Pascoe

  • ISSA Certified Personal Trainer

  • ISSA Transformation Specialist

I have always enjoyed sports & fitness. During my college years, I spent my time in the football team’s weight room - a woman in a weight room was a definite oddity in those days. During that time, I earned my BA in Physical Education, K-12 and I chose physical education because it was important to me to help children learn at an early age that everyone can do something physical that they enjoy doing to enhance their experience in this great game of life - But, for so many of us, life has a funny way of taking us down unexpected paths and that is just what happened to me. Instead of teaching Phys Ed., I ended up sitting behind a desk for 21 years, muscling my brain while my body went along for the ride and getting minimal attention - I always managed to do something to keep relatively fit, but, honestly, I was not healthy, not like I knew I could be. Then it happened - I retired. I got up, and left my desk behind...and the dreams that I put aside so many years ago, I pulled them out, dusted them off, and began the 2nd leg of my life. Maybe you can relate?? Two major accomplishments I am proud of myself for doing were buying a motorcycle & learning to ride and I studied and received my certification for Personal Training and Transformation. What would you like to achieve for yourself? What changes would you like to make to foster a vigorous and healthy lifestyle? Change can be challenging. Depending on your specific goals, I’ll design a fitness plan, and assist with the behavior changes necessary to help you achieve that vision you have for yourself. I look forward to helping you find that sweet spot where you are comfortable in your skin, confident in your physical abilities, strong, mobile, and feeling mentally and physically empowered to enjoy the activities of daily life. I’ll coach you through the impediments and self doubt of what you think you can not do, and we’ll get down to realizing ALL you can do. My conviction is still the same as it was back in my college days, that everyone can do something that they enjoy to stay physically fit and engaged in life as they nurture a healthier mind, body and spirit through all phases of life. When I am not at Limitless Fitness, you might find me on a golf course, inline skating, riding my motorcycle, or gardening. I also enjoy cooking, rock & roll and dancing (great exercise!!) And that retirement thing? I moved it to the back burner, there’s still so much living to do...come join me!

Jennifer Cook

  • NASM Certified Personal Trainer

  • NASM Fitness Nutrition Specialist

  • Precision Nutrition L1 Coach

  • Certified TRX Trainer

  • TFW - Level 1

As an experienced exercise professional, Jennifer explains..
I started out loving running with a side of weight training. Got married (still loved running- smaller side of weight training). Had kids (ran with them-tried to fit in weight training). When I finally joined a gym I realized I love weights AND I love the idea of helping people work out. I studied and became a group fitness instructor. Loved it! Taught lots of classes but knew it wasn’t enough. Studied and became a personal trainer and oh my goodness-THAT is what I love. Seeing people enjoy becoming healthier, more mobile, happier, more active and most importantly to me, understanding how their bodies work..that mind/body connection-it’s huge. That “I get it” moment. Then studied more and became a nutrition coach.

I strive to stay educated in fitness and nutrition. Both are my passions. I thoroughly enjoy helping people discover what makes them feel great. I love making fitness fun.

I love to combine functional fitness with strength and mobility. My vision is to see you achieve your goal in a sustainable way. When we train you’ll get a huge dose of fun and encouragement along with knowledge acquired from education and life lessons, and tough love if needed. I’ve learned that fitness is about staying active while we “mature”. Working out with me is guaran- teed to make you smile and probably laugh a lot.

Sophie Counsil

  • NASM Certified Personal Trainer

  • NASM Women’s Fitness Specialist

My journey into fitness began with dance.  I started dancing at 4 years old and fell in love with it at an early age. As an adult I moved into professional dance, performing and teaching throughout New England.

In early 2017 I began aerial dance, and fell in love with the physical challenges unique to circus arts. I loved the workouts, feeling stronger than I ever had, and sharing workouts and techniques with others in my class. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing them gain strength, surpass their fitness goals and advance in classes. After several years of assisting friends with their dance and aerial conditioning, I began to see my calling in the fitness industry.

I have always found great joy in helping my students reach their goals, hone their skills, and find greater confidence in themselves. As a dance instructor and certified personal trainer, I have a broad skillset to assist a variety of people in their individual fitness journeys. My goal with each client is to find a tailored exercise plan that will be sustainable with your specific work, home and family lifestyles, as well as help you gain confidence and happiness in your own skin.

Jill Harriman

●  NASM- Certified Personal Trainer

●  NASM- Certified Nutrition Coach

●  Certified SPINNING Instructor

My fitness journey started in the early 2000’s with running. I quickly became obsessed with how great it made me feel and immersed myself in the world of fitness classes-especially SPINNING! In the process, I had lost a substantial amount of weight and slowly transformed my eating habits by learning as much as I could about nutrition. One of my passions is trying new healthy recipes that my family will love so we ALL are fueling ourselves in the best way possible. As my kids got older, I dove into weight training and that’s when everything clicked for me. I wanted to learn everything I could and then became a personal trainer because I wanted to share everything I have learned with others so that they could feel great too!

Recently I have started to pursue a certification in Holistic Nutrition through Ulan Nutritional Systems which I am really enjoying and can’t wait to share as I move along in the process!

  • NASM Certified Personal Trainer (CPT)

  • NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES)

  • NASM Certified Nutrition Coach (CNC)

  • NASM Behavior Change Specialist (BCS)

  • NASM Senior Fitness Specialist (SFS)

  • NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES)

After years of working in the food service industry, I made the decision to pursue my passion by becoming a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. As a more mature adult and having had personal trainers myself, I found that there was a shortage of personal trainers in my age group who understood the challenges of being over 50.

After earning my NASM PT certification, I studied and successfully obtained my Nutrition Coach and Behavior Change Specialist Certifications, because fueling and healthy habits are all part of the equation for a healthy sustainable lifestyle. I am currently enrolled in the Corrective Exercise Specialist program and will continue to accumulate more knowledge to offer clients a complete range of skills.

I enjoy this career because I can teach clients that they are never too old to learn new things, to face challenges and to become stronger and healthier. Assisting people with their goals so they can look back and see how far they have progressed is fulfilling and a key reason I am part of this profession. I have gained expertise to work with people in all age groups, but feel my specialty is understanding and working with those over. 50 years of age.

Damaris Otero

  • NASM Certified Personal Trainer

I pursued a career in personal training because I was once 220lb, with poor health and little to no knowledge on where and how to start a healthy lifestyle. I learned and managed to lose 65lb and there I found my passion to help others that are struggling to achieve their own health and fitness goals; just like me!

In addition to my NASM Personal Trainer certification, I also acquired a specialization in senior and youth fitness. I NEVER want to stop learning; the more I know the more I can teach and help others. I am passionate about fitness and helping others achieve goals that may seem impossible, additionally, help people sustain goals because that is key to the overall success!

I am also a mother of 4, born in Bronx, NY and work diligently on my work/life balance. I look forward to helping you achieve long-term health and fitness goals.
