Before having kids I was an active tennis player and 5K runner, never had any pain or physical issues, and was generally happy with my fitness. Then came the twin boys in 2016 – experienced parents would know what physical strain was involved in all the never-ending chores and sleep-deprived months. I never had time to work out again on my treadmill because a toy storage at the corner of my living room. Needless to say, excess weight creeped in and I found myself shopping for clothes two sizes up. Just when I thought I would make peace with this less active lifestyle “because I am a mom and I only have 24 hours a day”, alarming knee pain appeared while I was playing with my kids. I said to myself, “the boys are three years old ready!”, I’m in poor shape! I need to get some “me time” back, focusing on and feeling better about myself while making some concrete changes to my fitness. I NEED to do fitness.

I reached out to Sue in October 2019 and am so glad I did. After our consultation I realized that I need proper strength training, and stronger muscles to help alleviate the pain. I immediately committed to a frequency of two work outs per week: one personal training session with my very caring and talented trainer Holly, and one group class to add a bit more core and cardio exercise. This schedule suits my physical conditions and work schedule, and I’m proud to say that I give  100% every single time I set foot in Limitless Fitness. The results speak for themselves: within the first three months I lost 6 lb of fat and built 1 lb of lean mass, and I became more energetic and less frequently bothered by the pain. In addition, I love the time spent with Holly and my fellow classmates, and this “me time” routine makes me feel fulfilled and so happy! Fitness also becomes a habit at home, and I can’t tell you enough the joy I feel when my boys cheer for me while I do plank or “bird dogs” (their favorite) on their play mat. I WANT to do fitness, and I will continue doing it!

The best thing about Limitless Fitness is the friendly people and professional trainers. I feel relaxed and appreciated, making jokes with Sue, Michelle and others sometimes, yet the entire team holds me accountable for my commitment to fitness – they are strict! I am so grateful, and I am a fan!
